In the short film below, Ramin Bahrani and narrator Werner Herzog anthropomorphize a plastic bag. But it’s more than that. It’s a new categorical framework for the Great Pacific Garbage Patch — from the perspective of a plastic bag and his maker. It’s a love story and tragedy set in polyethylene.
